The North Country team is comprised of highly experienced outdoor leaders led by Rob Simpson who has taught teamwork, leadership and management skills as a lecturer in Higher Education. Rob has many years of experience of working with expedition groups in the United Kingdom, Morocco and many other developing world destinations.

A lifetime of exploring the hills and mountains have helped him to develop his extensive knowledge of the outdoors. Rob trained as a Jungle Survival and Tropical Rainforest Leader in the Jungles of Indonesia.

Rob has worked for some of the market leaders in the adventure travel world, including Schools Worldwide, World Challenge Expeditions, Outlook Expeditions and In:spa Resorts. He has planned and organised expeditions to the Amazon Jungle, Himalaya, Andes Mountains, Sahara Desert, Kilimanjaro and the High Atlas Mountains in Morocco.
